Amelia Island Lighthouse Tours
10am
Tours of the Amelia Island Lighthouse are available on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 10am. A shuttle to the lighthouse departs from the Fernandina Beach Recreation Center on Atlantic Avenue. (Note that you cannot drive a personal vehicle to the lighthouse, but must take the shuttle.) Pre-registration is required at least 24 hours prior to tour. Adults $5, children 12 and under $3.

Children ages 3-5 and their favorite adult enjoy gallery visits, art making and time in Art Connections. $10 per pair for Members, $15 per pair for Non-Members. Registration is required.

Children's Choir

Children are invited to participate in a choir!
Preschool Choir: Melody Makers- ages 3- kindergarten
Children's Choir: Joy Jammers- 1st- 6th grades.
Both choirs meet on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:15 at the church. Choir for both groups incorporates music, drama, Bible stories, and Scripture memorization. All kids are welcome. Parents may drop off and pick up or go to Adult Bible study during choir time. There is a family dinner beforehand at 5:30pm. Both choirs are free; cost of dinner is $4.50 for adults and $2.50 for children. Children may participate as often as they like-no long term commitment required.

First Wednesday Art Walk
5pm to 9pm
Held each month from 5pm-9pm - rain or shine - the Art Walk spans a 15-block radius within the Downtown core and features local art, live music, performances, and more. Some venues close at 8pm, and some stay open late.
Street parking is free after 6pm and the Downtown Garage on the corner of Adams and Clay offers free parking Art Walk night.
There are also opportunities if you would like to display your artwork, or be one of the bands that performs.

Skate at Jacksonville's only ice skating facility. Jacksonville Ice holds public ice skating sessions weekly. Hours are Monday thru Friday 11am to 1pm; Tuesdays 7:30pm to 9:30pm (no charge for rentals); Fridays 7:30pm to 12midnight; Saturdays 2pm to 4pm and 8pm to 10pm (DJ Night); and Sundays 2pm to 4pm. Parenting Group Classes

Free parenting classes will be offered in two locations this spring. Some of the topics will include discipline techniques, use of praise and communication skills. A Wednesday evening class will meet weekly March 18 through May 20, 5:30pm to 7pm, in the Family Integrity Program Conference Room at the Health and Human Services complex, located at 1955 US 1 South in St. Augustine. A second class will be offered on Friday afternoons, April 10 through June 12, 1pm – 2:30pm, at the Walter E. Harris Community Center (old Hastings Elementary School) in Hastings.
